1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the KeepNav mobile app and this website, provided by [developer / company name, address] (“we”). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not, please do not use KeepNav. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
2. Beta software
KeepNav is in beta. Features may change, behave unexpectedly or be removed. Accuracy figures we publish come from a limited number of test trips and are not a promise for your trip, phone or car.
3. Road safety comes first
- KeepNav is a navigation aid. It does not replace your attention, road signs, traffic rules or the instructions of authorities.
- When GPS is spoofed, jammed or absent, the position shown is an estimate and can be wrong by hundreds of metres. The integrity check can also be wrong — in both directions.
- Do not handle the phone while driving or riding. Mount it securely, set the route before you start, or use voice commands.
- Routes may include roads that are closed, unsafe or not allowed for your vehicle. Use your own judgement.
- Do not use KeepNav as the sole means of navigation in aviation, at sea, in emergency services or any other safety-critical activity.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use KeepNav to break the law, to interfere with radio or satellite navigation signals, to track other people without their consent, or to reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app except as the law allows. If you send us trip recordings, send only your own.
5. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. The KeepNav name, logo and app remain ours. The beta is free of charge; if paid features appear later, they will be described before you pay.
6. Open data and third-party components
- Map and address data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
- Map tiles: Protomaps, built from OpenStreetMap.
- Elevation: SRTM data (NASA / USGS).
- Satellite orbits: International GNSS Service (IGS) products via BKG.
- Voice assistant: Whisper (MIT licence), Gemma (subject to the Gemma Terms of Use and Prohibited Use Policy), Vosk (Apache 2.0), llama.cpp and whisper.cpp (MIT). By connecting the assistant you also accept the terms of these models.
7. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of positions, routes, travel times or integrity status, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for damages arising from reliance on positions, routes or warnings shown by the app, including traffic incidents, fines, delays or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
9. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine; disputes go to the competent courts of Ukraine, unless consumer law of your country gives you other mandatory rights. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app. Questions: hello@keepnav.com.
